This website was developed collaboratively across State & Territory and Australian Government agricultural agencies to provide a single, user-friendly website through which stakeholders can find access to local, state and national information in relation to Australian responses to current outbreaks of animal and plant pests and diseases.
Outbreak only reports on pests and diseases that are exotic to Australia, and are under eradication programs. If a pest or disease is considered endemic (established) in Australia or is deemed not eradicable, information on the particular pest or disease will be available from the Department of Primary Industries or Agriculture in the State or Territory where the outbreak occurred.
The content for this site is developed collaboratively, with all of the State & Territory and Australian Government agricultural agencies working together to bring you the most up-to-date information available.
